“Disconnected: All the Lonely People”

Sunday, August 1 - A recent PBS documentary, “Disconnected,” followed three college students who gave up their computers, internet, email, and instant messaging for three weeks. They didn’t give up their cell phones! We live in a hyper-connected world, and yet many people still feel disconnected. We were created in God’s image and need connection. The Church offers a place to build authentic relationships and to find support in life’s struggles. Pastor Hartman will teach this week from Nehemiah 4:19 – “We are separated far from one another” - on ways to overcome loneliness and the feeling of disconnection in a connected world. 9:15 & 10:30 am.
