“When Getting Your Way Gets In Your Way”

Sunday, May 24 – “Have it your way” was once a slogan for a fast food restaurant. It is now assumed to be a supreme personal right for everyone. Which inevitably leads to strife when someone else getting their way interferes with you getting your way. It leads to lawsuits – 20 million a year in the U.S! – as it did in ancient Greece, as we see from Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians, chapter 6. Christians were taking other Christians to court! Even if you’re not suing anyone because you didn’t “get your way,” chances are that there is some dispute going on in your life that boils down to someone not “getting their way.” What can you do “WHEN GETTING YOUR WAY GETS IN YOUR WAY”? This Sunday, Pastor Jeff Hartman speaks from 1 Corinthians 6:1-11 in a study called, “WHEN GETTING YOUR WAY GETS IN YOUR WAY.”  Join us this week at Traditional Worship with orchestra, choir and hymns at 9:15 am, and at Contemporary Worship with band and praise at 10:30 am.
