“She Mistook Jesus for the Gardener”

Easter Sunday, April 20 - Have you ever waved at someone, thinking it was a friend, only to discover that it was someone else? “I’m sorry! I thought you were someone else!” On Easter Sunday morning, at the empty tomb of Jesus, that very thing happened to Mary Magdalene. Except instead of thinking Him to be a friend and finding Him to be a stranger, she thought He was a stranger and it was Jesus! Isn’t it possible to see God’s hand in your life and entirely miss it? To think it was just coincidence, or someone else? Is it possible to see evidence of eternal life and miss it, too? This week, Pastor Jeff Hartman will bring a message called “She Mistook Jesus for the Gardener” at Traditional Worship with orchestra, choir and hymns at 9:15 am, or at Contemporary Worship with band and praise at 10:30 am.
